Drupal Error

Solution of Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in lamp/www/drupal/includes/file.inc on line 902
error..
There are two solution for this..
1. Downgrade lamp to previous version
or
2. Edit php source file of drupal.
I prefer to choose second solution since I love to learn new thing
I have tried a few php function like preg_replace() and mb_ereg()
After test each function I think mb_ereg() is good solution.

Go to www/drupal/includes/file.inc
open file.inc
Search for elseif ($depth >= $min_depth && ereg($mask, $file))
Edit above line by elseif ($depth >= $min_depth && mb_ereg($mask, $file))

Save the file...Open..install drupal..this time u will not face that error..

I am posting my views on this Mr. Pritish Nandy'sEditorial
I supports But also disagree a little bit. In the last five years India Movies has gone through many experimental movies. There are lot of potential director present in Indian who also can deliver a good piece but the main prob is that who would like to take risk. If they would make they will get a handful of audience. Todays the movies are made totaly for commercial purpose.

We have many talented director like Pridarshan, Mani Ratnam, Johar, Chopra,Ashutosh Govarikar, Anurag Kashayap They are able to give highly culturally enriched movies to India.But the main problem is that our Indian generation is accepting western culture with open arms.In any country cinema is the reflection of the country's culture.They have to make movies according to the current society.

In an interview of Pridarshan when he was asked why he didnt make KANCHIVARAM in Hindi.His very simple reply was -Society.He sad South has higher literacy ratio they can accept happily movies like KANCHIVARAM but rest of India cant.

Talking about classical and Experiment. Indian Cinema is in the most experimental phase than it was ever before. There is lot of experimental movies are made in last five year. But most of them could not even gathered handful of audience. Although they were enriched in skilled direction, skilled acting, strong plot. Few Exapmple-- Bheja fry, Aamir, A wednesday, Tare jameen per , Kanchivram,Yatra, Firak, RAGA and many more.

Splitting brother at Kumbh, Taking revenge from father's killer ,totally impractical dialogues , unsituational songs DO U CALL IT A CLASSIC ?

Our songs were classics not most of story. I am not talking about all movies.

Talking about Hollywood. Why are you talking about 2012 type crap movies which done a extremely very well in India. They have also delivered classical movies. Why people should not watch Hollywood's movie. They can get a lot to people..

Most of Indian youth from small town try to listen English songs and watch English movies because they they want to impart impression on other. Because English is treated like highly prestigious language in India. Because in current scenario if you are unable to speak fluent English you are nothing. Many doors of jobs are closed for you in India for jobs.
Lets not blame our filmmaker on there capability. They can make good piece if Indian people start accepting those moves.
